General

1. All prices are given in GBP (Pounds Sterling).

2. Tekkstyle will provide the client with an estimate or quote of costs involved in development of the project, usually by email. If this initial estimate or quote is of interest, in the case of larger projects a more detailed proposal will be submitted if requested by the client. In the case of smaller projects (usually less than £400.00 value) the initial email estimate or quote will be deemed as the project cost.

3. All prices quoted are valid for three months from the date quoted in the Quotation or Proposal.

4. Tekkstyle has the right to change hourly rates etc. without notice but will inform its existing clients before proceeding with any work outside of any agreed Quotations or Proposals.

Invoices and Payments

1. All invoices raised by Tekkstyle shall become due for payment to be received 30 days following the date of invoice unless consent is expressly given in writing to the client for an extension of this period or terms of any account facility between the company and the client expressly state.

2.Invoices which are overdue for a period in excess of 30 days from the date of invoice for any services will be subject to a minimum of 1% interest for each day the payment is overdue, at Tekkstyle's own discretion.

3.Any additional time or costs incurred to Tekkstyle including searching for and purchasing images, setting-up email accounts and purchasing domains etc, may also be charged at additional costs at the discretion of Tekkstyle and added to the final invoice.

4.Tekkstyle reserves the right to pass on any excess charges it receives for late payment of invoices for services or goods supplied to the client including any interest charges from banks or other financial institutions.

5.In extreme circumstances, Tekkstyle reserves the right to take the site offline if the final invoice for the remaining payment is not paid within the agreed time, and may only put the site live again once the payment is received and the funds cleared in her bank if necessary, unless otherwise agreed.

Timescales and Deadlines

1. Tekkstyle aims to complete all agreed work, unless otherwise arranged at any stage during the project. Tekkstyle aims to complete the work within any agreed timescales or deadlines and the client will be informed if for any reason there are any delays in completing the work.

2. Tekkstyle cannot be held responsible for delays in completing the project due to the Client's inability to provide information timeously and/or delays in procuring Internet Merchant IDs or any other 3rd party delays.

3. If the client would like a pre-project meeting or a design meeting at their premises, this can be added to the project as an additional charge. All travel, subsistence and time costs will be chargeable to the client.

Subcontracted Work

1. Tekkstyle does NOT subcontract out any Web Design work to any other Web Designers and all design work is completely bespoke. However, it may occasionally subcontract work to a reliable web development studio in Derbyshire called Edge Designs. We will keep the client informed if this is the case.

2. Large amounts of subcontracted work such as Web Development work for Content Managed Sites and Online Payment Systems are usually invoiced directly from the Associate Company or Freelancer and NOT from Tekkstyle. Tekkstyle therefore cannot be held responsible for work that is delayed or uncompleted by subcontractors but will of course endeavor to do everything possible to help the client to fulfil the project.

3. Other related services such as Hosting and Search Engine Optimisation can be arranged but is not under the management of Tekkstyle.

Support After Project Completion

1. Before going live on the Internet, the Client will have the opportunity to browse the web site and request changes, additions and alterations within the bounds of the quoted proposal to ensure that the site has been completed to the desired standard and with the required features as requested in any approved correspondence.

2. Once the Client has satisfied him/herself that the site is complete within the scope of the quote or proposal, he/she will approve the completed product in writing in an email or fax.

3. Tekkstyle will then make the index page live on the Internet. The project will be deemed as complete once the index page (home page) of the web site has gone live on the Internet as per the Client's instruction.

4. Once the web site is live, any support, changes, omissions, repairs or maintenance to the web site will be deemed as additional work and will be chargeable at an hourly rate. General maintenance and technical support is charged at £200/annum.
